BE it enacted by Parliament in the Seventy-fifth Year of the Republic of India, in exercise of powers vested under the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019 as follows:— 1. This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Act, 2024. Short title. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Issue of Rs. there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule 8712,89,72,000 (Supplementary amounting in the aggregate to the sum of eight thousand seven hundred twelve crore, Grants) out of the eighty-nine lakh and seventy-two thousand rupees towards defraying the several charges Consolidated Fund of the Union which will come in course of payment during the financial year 2023-24 in respect of the territory of Jammu services specified in column 2 of the Schedule. and Kashmir for the financial year 2023- 24. 3.
