Enhance/2016-17/30315-325 .—The Lt. Governor of Delhi is pleased to make the following amendment in the below-mentioned schemes: 1 The Old Age Assistance Rules, 2009 as published in the Delhi Gazette vide Notification No. F 41 (21)/DSW/FAS/Sch. Amend/09-10/1892-1904 dated November 4, 2009 and subsequent amendments, including amendment vide notification No. F 41(8)/FAS/DSW/Enhance/2007-08/2358-2368 dated November 11, 2011. Amendment in Rule 4 (c) In Rule 4 (c), the family income of the applicant is modified to be not more than Rs. 1,00,000/- p.a. (Rs. One lakh per annum) and the rule shall now read as under: “The applicant shall be entitled for financial assistance if his/her annual family income is not more than Rs. 1,00,000/- p.a. (Rs. One lakh per annum) from all sources.” Amendment in Rule 7 (a) In Rule 7 (a) the quantum of assistance has been enhanced by Rs. 1000/- per month and the rule shall now read as under: “Subject to the fulfillment of the provisions of the scheme, an allowance of Rs. 2000/- per month (Rs. two thousand per month) to beneficiaries aged 60- 69 years and Rs. 2,500/- per month (Rs. two thousand and five hundred per month) to beneficiaries of age 70 years and above will be remitted on monthly basis to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. This enhanced quantum will be payable only to those beneficiaries who have linked their bank accounts with Aadhaar and are receiving pension through Aadhaar Payment Bridge System (Direct Benefit Transfer after seeding/linking with Aadhaar). An additional amount of Rs. 500/- per month will be given to 60-69 year old beneficiaries belonging to SC/ST/Minority communities who provide their relevant dcouments.” 2.
