as follows:—
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Seventy-sixth Year of the Republic
of India as follows:—
1.(1)This Act maybe called the Mussalman Wakf (Repeal)Act, 2025. Short title and
commencement.
(2)It shall come into force onsuch date as the Central Government may, by
notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
2.(1)TheMussalmanWakfAct, 1923 is hereby repealed. Repeal of Act
42 of 1923.2 THE GAZETTE OF IN2DIA EXTRAORDINARY [Part II—Sec. 1]
(2)The repeal by this Act shall not affect the previous operation of the Act
so repealed or anything duly done or suffered thereunder, or any obligation or
liability accrued or incurred under the Act so repealed, or any legal proceeding
or remedy in respect of any such obligation or liability, as aforesaid, and any
such legal proceeding or remedy may be continued or enforced as if this Act
had not been passed.
