An Act further to amend the National Institutes of Technology, Science
Education and Research Act, 2007.
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as
follows:—
1. (1) This Act may be called the National Institutes of Technology, Science Education Short title
and Research (Amendment) Act, 2016. and
commencement.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 20th day of August, 2015.2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 1]
Amendment 2. In the First Schedule to the National Institutes of Technology, Science
of First Education and Research Act, 2007, after serial number 30, the following serial number
