The powers conferred by sub-section (1) of the section 4 of Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Govt., hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal.

New Delhi, the 5th August , 2015
S.O. 2129(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of the section 4 of Coal Bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following
amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal, number S.O. 3037( E), dated the
28th November, 2014, published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 2nd December,
2014, namely:-
(A) In the Schedule to the notification,-
(a) against serial number 9, relating to village Kaniha, Block ‘A’,-
(i) under the heading ‘Type of land in acres’, in sub-heading “Tenancy”, for entry “37.120”, the entry
“37.220” shall be substituted;
(ii) under the heading “Total in acres”, against village “Kaniha” , for entry “93.040”, the entry “93.140”
shall be substituted;
(b) against “Total: (in acres)”, for the entry in the sub-heading “Tenancy”, “1441.684”, the entry
“1441.784” shall be substituted;
(c ) for the entries “Total: 2820.490 acres (approximately) or 1141.437 hectares (approximately)”, the
entries “Total: 2820.590 acres (approximately) or 1141.477 hectares (approximately),” shall be substituted.
(B) Under the heading “Plots to be notified”:
(i) under entry in Village – “Adaitaprasad”, for plot number “97/338”, plot number “97/938” shall be substituted;
(ii) under entry in Village –“Badadungri”, for plot number “3961/7379”, plot number “3961/7389” shall be
substituted;
(iii) under entry in Village –“Gundurinali”, for plot number “194/2355”, plot number “1194/2355” shall be
substituted;
(iv) under entry in Village – “Kansamunda”, for plot numbers “2678/4536, 1199/500, 3687/50 and 3666/5105”, plot
