S.R.O. 2(E).—There being a necessity for Officers of the Navy and the Air Force to exercise
command over persons subject to the Army Act, 1950 (Act 46 of 1950), who are attached to or are serving in
the Air Force Units or Naval Ships or Establishments; or Army Units Commanded by such Officers; or
Unified Service Organisations or Establishments, including the Andaman and Nicobar Command, comprising
members of the Army, Navy, and Air Force or any two of them, the Central Government in exercise of
powers conferred by clause (e) of rule 188 of the Army Rules, 1954 hereby declare that Officers of the Navy
and Air Force will exercise command over persons subject to the Army Act, 1950 (Act 46 of 1950), who are
attached to or serving in Air Force Units or Naval Ships or Establishments; or Army Units commanded by
such Officers; or Unified Service Organisations or Establishments, including the Andaman and Nicobar
command, comprising members of the Army, Navy and Air Force or any two of them.
