F. No. 1-50(13)/2017-Estt.—This refers restructuring of field units in Department of Telecommunication issued
vide notification no. 9-5(1)/2016-Estt dated 23.02.2017.¹Hkkx Iµ[k.M 1º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3
2. Approval of the competent authority is hereby conveyed to declare the Director General (Telecom), Advisors/
Sr DDGs in the LSAs/ TEC/ NTIPRIT and the officers occupying the posts as indicated in Annex-I as ‘Head of the
Department’ under Rule 2(xviii) of GFR 2017, Rule 2(h) of P&T FHB Vol. I, SR-2 (10) & GIO there under, Rule 3(k) of
CCS Pension Rules and Rule 2(i) of CCS (CCA) Rules.
3. The exercise of powers as ‘Head of the Department’ will be subject to the conditions as laid down in the
Manuals/Code books as stated above and as amended from time to time and the instructions already issued relating to
financial as well as administrative powers.
4. This issues with the concurrence of Integrated Finance of this Department.
