S.O. 3559(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 33D of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940
(23 of 1940) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Health and
Family Welfare, (Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy), published in
the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 3909 (E), dated the 30th
December, 2013, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central
Government hereby constitutes the Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani Drugs Consultative Committee with representatives
of the Central Government, State Governments and the Union territories Administration as specified in column (2) of

2. The Adviser (Drug Policy Section) shall be the Chairman of Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani Drugs Consultative
Committee (ASUDCC) and Dr. Heena Ashokbhai Maheshwari, Research officer (Ayurveda) shall be the Member
Secretary of the Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani Drugs Consultative Committee.
3. The term of the Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani Drugs Consultative Committee shall be five years from the date of
publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
4. In case of transfer or deputation or retirement of any member of the Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani Drugs
Consultative Committee, the incumbent at the respective post shall continue to represent the State or Union Territory
in attending the meeting of the Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani Drugs Consultative Committee.
