On November 24, 2025, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released its Independent Drive Test (IDT) findings for network quality in Sangareddy City and adjacent areas in Telangana, under the Andhra Pradesh Licensed Service Area (LSA). Tests were conducted from October 7th to 9th, 2025, covering 355.0 kilometers of drive tests and 5 hotspot locations. Technologies included 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G. Key parameters assessed were voice (Call Setup Success Rate, Drop Call Rate, Call Setup Time, Call Silence Rate, Speech Quality, Coverage) and data services (Download/Upload Throughput, Latency, Jitter, Packet Drop Rate, and Video Streaming Delay). The assessment included nearby areas like Gajwel, Kuknurpalle, Duddeda and Siddipet, Ramayapet. Real-world conditions were also evaluated at Gajwel Bus Stand, Govt Hospital Narsapur, Medak Bus Stand, Sangareddy Bus Stand and Siddipet Collector Office.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released its Independent Drive Test (IDT) findings
for the State of Telangana under Andhra Pradesh Licensed Service Area (LSA), covering extensive
city routes of Sangareddy City in the month of October 2025. The drive tests conducted under the
supervision of the TRAI Regional Office, Hyderabad, were designed to capture real-world mobile
network performance across diverse usage environments- Urban Zones, Institutional Hotspots, rural
residential areas etc.
Between 7th October 2025 to 9th October 2025, TRAI teams conducted detailed tests for 355.0Kms
Sangareddy City drive test, and 5 Hotspot locations. Technologies evaluated included 2G, 3G, 4G, and
5G, reflecting the service experience of users across multiple handset capabilities. The findings of the
IDT have been intimated to all the TSPs concerned.
