Ministry of Defence Two-Day ADGs/DDGs Conference of NCC commences in New Delhi Posted On: 12 MAR 2026 1:01PM by PIB Delhi The two-day conference of the Additional Directors General (ADGs) and Deputy Directors General (DDGs) of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) commenced at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi, on 12 March 2026. Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh addressed the conference on the opening day. In his address, Defence Secretary emphasised the importance of transforming the National Cadet Corps in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. He also appreciated the NCC’s significant contribution to various social outreach programmes conducted across the country. Defence Secretary, in his interaction with the ADGs and DDGs of all NCC Directorates, called for synergised efforts aligned with the policies and initiatives of the Central Government.
