The intensive programme comprised 40 sessions covering diverse aspects of tourism, management, leadership, governance and contemporary issues in tourism. Designed to strengthen professional competencies, the MDP aimed to equip participants with knowledge and perspectives that would support them in their leadership responsibilities and future career roles. The programme brought together an accomplished pool of academicians, industry experts, senior IAS officers, senior faculty members of IITTM and a Padma Shri awardee. The sessions provided participants with academic insights, administrative experience and industry perspectives. As part of the programme, participants also presented seminar papers, promoting critical thinking, research orientation and knowledge sharing. The valedictory session was chaired by Ms. Lalthamibigai K., Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. In her address, she appreciated the efforts undertaken to organise the programme and emphasised the importance of continuous learning and capacity building for effective leadership in the tourism sector.
