Scindia will convene a Telecom Manufacturing Zone Investors Meet in Mumbai on 4 August 2026 along with the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav; Secretary of Department of Telecom, Amit Agarwal and Additional Chief Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Govt., Neeraj Mandloi. The first roadshow and the Investors’ Meet in Mumbai comes close on the heels of the landmark launch of India’s first Telecom Manufacturing Zone (TMZ) in Gwalior through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh on 30 July 2026. The TMZ launch was followed by the first Investors’ Roundtable in the national capital. Minister Scindia announced investment commitments of ₹3,500 crore were secured with the potential to generate nearly 14,000 employment opportunities, reflecting the strong confidence of industry in India’s growing telecom manufacturing ecosystem. The Mumbai Investors’ Meet and roadshow marks the next phase of this national initiative to mobilise greater industry participation and investments for India’s first Telecom Manufacturing Zone.
