Ministry of Electronics & IT Union Minister of State Jitin Prasada Inaugurates Digital India Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF), Showcasing India’s Digital Transformation Journey E-Governance Innovations Showcased at Digital India Pavilion Highlight Transparency, Inclusivity and Digital Empowerment at IITF 2025 Digital India Pavilion Offers Live, Immersive Demonstrations of Key MeitY Initiatives at IITF 2025 Posted On: 15 NOV 2025 8:04PM by PIB Delhi Union Minister of State for Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology Shri Jitin Prasada inaugurated the Digital India Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair on 14th November 2025.The Digital India Pavilion showcasing the journey of India’s digital ecosystem transformation for delivering secure and inclusive digital public services. On display, at the Pavilion Hall Number 6, are impactful e-governance initiatives such as DigiLocker, UMANG, myScheme, NIXI, NIELIT, Cert-In, India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), and Aadhaar. These exhibits and installations highlight how the Digital India initiative is fostering transparency, inclusivity, and digital empowerment, true to this year’s IITF theme “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”.At the exhibition, visitors will be able to experience live and immersive demonstrations of schemes under the Ministry of Electronics & IT over the next two weeks. The exhibits are on the following key initiatives under Digital India Programme: UMANG App that provides access to over 210+ Central and State Government departments, reducing the need for citizens to visit multiple government websites or offices. Available in 23 languages, the App has integrated 2132+ eGovernance services and has more than 9.63 crore registered users. The displays will help visitors familiarise themselves with the application and services it hosts. DigiLocker is a cloud-based platform allowing citizens to store key personal records such as Aadhaar, PAN, driving licenses, academic records, and other government-issued certificates. DigiLocker has 2,234 issuers, 2,944 requesters, and 60.79 crore registered users. The exhibit shows how the platform can offer a secure and paperless experience. myScheme is a one-stop government scheme platform, hosting more than 4,000 Schemes across Central and State/UT governments. The display will enable citizens to explore personalised scheme discovery, determine their eligibility, and access scheme information with ease. The stall features dedicated support for user queries, AI-driven myScheme Assistant, and QR-based digital on-boarding.The Aadhaar exhibit features the new Aadhaar App, which is designed to provide a safe and user- friendly experience for citizens. The App is equipped with features such as selective information sharing, face verification for proof-of-presence and QR code verification by Offline Verification Seeking Entities (OVSEs). The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) stall highlights its efforts to bridge the digital divide by making digital learning accessible to all. The Digital University Platform offers courses in more than 20 domains with flexible learning pathways, AI-powered NIELIT Mitra and Interview Simulators. The Deemed-to-be University offers degree and certification programs through a digital-first model equipped with Smart Labs, credit-linked pathways, and AI- integrated learning. NIELIT Virtual Labs provide hands-on, experiential learning across domains like IoT, Cloud Computing, and Electronics. The National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) highlights a diverse range of third-level domain names at the Pavilion to promote secure, diverse and future-ready digital identities. These include technology-focused domains such as .5G.in,.biz.in, .ai.in, and .io.in, along with professional identity domains like .ca.in,.dr.in, and .er.in. Lifestyle and personal branding domains like .travel.in and .me.in are also featured. Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) display at the Pavilion focuses on initiatives and projects for securing India's cyberspace by building cyber-resilient enterprises and nurturing cyber-smart citizens thus acting as a shield in the digital world. The India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) is showcasing the ongoing projects, start-ups & training initiatives under the Semiconductor Fab, Display Fab, and Compound Semiconductor/ATMP schemes. Under the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) Scheme, support has been extended to 24 chip design projects, 87 start-ups, and more than 290 academic institutions. These projects represent major milestones in strengthening India’s position in the global semiconductor value chain. IndiaAI Pavilion showcases India’s vision for an AI-enabled future grounded in inclusion, sustainability, and global collaboration. As a prelude to the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, the pavilion brings the Summit’s mission to life by highlighting the three Sutras -People, Planet, and Progress and the Seven Chakras that guide global cooperation on safe and trusted AI. Also on preview are the Summit’s Global Impact Challenges – AI for All, AI by HER, and YUVAi – along with the Research Symposium, international calls for abstracts, AI Expo showcase, and talent-building initiatives like IndiaAI Tinkerpreneur. The Digital India Pavilion at IITF showcases the power of digital technology in driving transparency, efficiency, and inclusivity across government services.
