1. सजं क्षि नाम और प्रारंभ- (1) इन जनयमों का संजक्षप् त नाम जनम्न िजि और अजत जनम्न िजि िोर्ट रेंि रेजडयो आवृजत
युजियों का उपयोग (अनुज्ञजि की अपेक्षा स ेछूर्) संिोधन जनयम, 2024 ह।ै
(2) य ेरािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. जनम्न िजि और अजत जनम्न िजि िोर्ट रेंि रेजडयो आवृजत युजत यों का उपयोग (अनुज्ञजि की अपेक्षा से छूर्) जनयम,
2018 के जनयम 3 म,ें
(i) सारणी-8 का लोप दकया िाएगा;
(ii) सारणी-IX म,ें क्रम सं 14 के सामने, स्ट् तंभ (2) के अधीन प्रजवजि के स्ट्थान पर “24.00-24.25 गीगाहर्टिट” प्रजवजि
रखी िाएगी।

G.S.R. 271(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4 and 7 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885
(13 of 1885) and sections 4 and 10 of the Indian Wireless Telegraphy Act, 1933 (17 of 1933), the Central Government
hereby makes the following rules to amend the Use of Low Power and Very Low Power Short Range Radio
Frequency Devices (Exemption from Licensing Requirement) Rules, 2018, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Use of Low Power and Very Low Power Short
Range Radio Frequency Devices (Exemption from Licensing Requirement) Amendment Rules, 2024.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Use of Low Power and Very Low Power Short Range Radio Frequency Devices (Exemption from Licensing
Requirement) Rules, 2018, in rule 3,
(i) Table-VIII shall be omitted;
(ii) in Table-IX, against Sl.No.14, for the entry under column(2), the entry “24.00-24.25 GHz” shall be
substituted.
3. The Equipment Type Approvals (ETAs) issued for specific models in it prior to publication of this Notification
shall continue to be valid till the life time of such models.
