The Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping) is pleased to announce the completion of the design and development of its newly revamped official website, aimed at enhancing user experience, accessibility, and transparency. The new website has been developed in line with the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) 3.0, ensuring compliance with modern web standards, cybersecurity norms, and improved accessibility for all users. One of the key highlights of the new portal is its enhanced search functionality, allowing users to seamlessly retrieve information through intelligent filters and quick navigation tools. The website also features a modern and responsive interface for better engagement across devices. 2. The structure and content of the new website have been developed based on the inputs and materials submitted by respective branches, sections, and wings of the Directorate.
