CHIDAMBARANAR PORT TRUST, TUTICORIN RECRUITMENT RULES FOR THE POST OF SENIOR ELECTRICIAN GRADE-I & SENIOR MECHANIC (CLASS III) Amendment to the Schedule II of Tuticorin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion Regulations, 2017. (MEE-CMEEL-EST-UNION-VI-18) (No.S-3/2/2019-E.I./D.1251) No. SRO-C-7/2019. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of Section 124, read with sub-section (1)(a) of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963) the Board of Trustees V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust hereby approves the revised manner of recruitment (Recruitment Rules) for Class-III posts under Regulation 5 of Tuticorin Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008 as set out in the Schedule annexed to this Notifi cation. 2. The said Recruitment Rules shall come into eff ect from the date of publication of this Notifi cation in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. S(cid:3467)(cid:3472)(cid:3469)(cid:3468)(cid:3485)(cid:3476)(cid:3469) (1) In the said Schedule under Regulations, in the Recruitment Rules for the post of Senior Electrician Grade-I, (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department), (Sl.No.129), the provisions under Column No. 12 shall be substituted by the following:- Promotion: Senior Electrician with fi ve years regular service in the grade under the scheme of skilled scales subject to passing the Trade Test prescribed and conducted by the port, failing which Senior Electrician with 10 years regular service put together in the grades of Sr. Electrician and Electrician/Lineman/Auto Electrician in the port subject to passing the Trade Test prescribed and conducted by the port. (2) In the said Schedule under Regulations, in the Recruitment Rules for the post of Senior Mechanic (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department) (Sl.No. 116), the provisions under Column No. 12, shall be substituted by the following:- Promotion: Mechanic with five years regular service in the grade under the Scheme of Skilled Scales subject to passing the trade test prescribed and conducted by the Port, failing which Blacksmith / Welder / Machinist / Tinker / Turner Fitter / Auto Electrician with fi ve years regular service in the grade under the scheme of skilled scales subject to passing the trade test prescribed and conducted by the Port.
