माहुाराष्ट्र सीरकाार याद्वाार ेराज्य हुज सीदिमाताीचा ेसीदास्य श्रीी. सीलीमा माहुमादानांरू बागवाानां यानांं ा दिनांष्काासीीता कारता आहु ेआदिणू त्याकारिरताा अल्पसीख्ं याका
दिवाकाासी दिवाभााग, अदि�सीूचानांा क्र. हुज-२०२०/प्र.क्र.६९/काा-५, दिदानांांका १९ दिडसींबर, २०२२ माध्ये खाालीलप्रमााणूे सीु�ारणूा कारता आहुे :—
सीदार अदि�सीूचानांेता, परिरच्छेेदा (iv) माध्ये, श्रीी. सीलीमा माहुमादानांूर बागवाानां यांच्याशी सींबंदि�ता अनांुक्रमाांका १२ मा�ील नांंदा वागळाण्याता
येईल.

रुचा�शा जयेवंशाी,
शासीनांाचाे सीदिचावा.

NOTIFICATION
Haj Committee aCt, 2002.
No. Haj 2025/C.R.91/Desk-5 .— Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra has, in exercise of the
powers conferred by section 18 of the Haj Committee Act, 2002 (35 of 2002) constitute Maharashtra
State Haj Committee vide Government Notification, General Administrative Department,
No. Haj-2002/921/C.R. 157/2002/35, dated the 13th March, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as “the said
notification) and thereby appoint sixteen members of the said Committee ;
And whereas, Government of Maharashtra vide Government Notification, Minorities
Developments Department, No. Haj 2020/C.R. 69/Desk-5, dated the 19th December, 2022 issued in
exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 read with section 19, 20 and 22 of the Haj Committee
Act, 2002 (35 of 2002) appointed Shri. Salim Mahamdnur Bagwan as a member representing Muslim
Voluntary Organisations working in the field of public administration, finance, education, culture
or social work on the said Committee ;
And whereas, Shri. Salim Mahamdnur Bagwan has committed an act which in the opinion of the
State Government, involves a moral turpitude under clause (vii) of section 23 of the Haj Committee
Act, 2002 (35 of 2002), and therefore disqualified for continuing as a member of the State Committee.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Haj Committee Act, 2002
(35 of 2002) the Government of Maharashtra hereby remove Shri. Salim Mahamdnur Bagwan, the
member of State Haj Committee and for that purpose amend the Government Notification, Minorities
Developments Department, No. Haj 2020/C.R. 69/Desk-5, dated 19th December, 2022, as follows :—
In the said notification, in paragraph (iv), entry at serial number 12, relating to Shri. Salim
Mahamdnur Bagwan, shall be deleted.
