section 3, sub – section (1) of section 3Y and sub-section (1) of section 35 of the Maharashtra Slum
Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 (Mah. XXVIII of 1971), and of all
other powers enabling in this behalf and in supersession of the Government Notification, Housing
Department, No. Zopupra-2023/C.R.66/Zopasu, dated the 15th September, 2023 issued in this
behalf with respect to appointment of Competent Authority and Appellate Authority for the areas
of Pune Municipal Corporation and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, the Government of
Maharashtra hereby,-
(a) appoints the officers mention in column (2) of the Schedule appended hereto, to be
the Competent Authority for the purpose of the said Act, for the areas specified, respectively,
against each of them in column (3) thereof;
(b) authorises the officers mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule appended hereto, for
the purposes of section 3Y of the said Act, for the areas specified respectively, against each of
them in column (3) thereof; and
(c) appoints the officers mentioned in column (4) of the said Schedule, to be the Appellate
Authority for the purposes of sub-section (1) of section 35 of the said Act, to whom any person
aggrieved by any notice, order or direction issued or given by the Competent Authority, mentioned
