the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30
of 2013), was issued vide notification No. 8/2/16/L&B/LA/10647 dated. 28/8/2015 for acquisition of land for public
purpose namely for construction of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) generated from the inhabitants of the
Kakrola, Village and adjoining areas.
And whereas, as per sub-section (7) of section 19 of the said Act, the declaration u/s 19 of this Act is to be
issued within a period of 12 months from the date of publication of preliminary notification.
And whereas, a proposal was received from concerned district for extension of time in issuance for declaration
u/s 19 of the Act, which was approved by Lt. Governor of Delhi and time for declaration was extended for Six (6)
months, and whereas a proposal has again received from District(South West) for another extension of time by Six(6)
months.
Now, therefore, the appropriate government after considering the request of District and in the exercise of
powers conferred under proviso of Sub- Section 7 of Section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency
in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, is pleased to extend the time for issuance of
declaration under section 19 of the said Act by a period of six months i.e. upto 27th August 2017.
