NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th March, 2018
S.O. 1135(E).—Whereas, by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O.
1360(E), dated the 7th April, 2016, under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and
Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 8th April, 2016, the Central Government gave notice of its
intension to prospect for coal in land measuring 2072.97 hectares (approximately) or 5122.41 acres (approximately) in
the locality specified in the Schedule appended thereto;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
specifies a further period of one year commencing from the 7th April, 2018, as the period within which the Central
Government gives notice of its intension to acquire the said land or any rights in or over the said land specified in the
