New Delhi, the 3rd July, 2017
S.O. 2099(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number
S.O. 3143(E), dated the 3rd October, 2016 issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) and published in the
Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated 4th October, 2016, the Central Government gave notice of its
intention to acquire the all rights in and over the land measuring 03.68 hectares (approximately) or 09.09 acres
(approximately) in the locality specified in the Schedule appended to that notification;
And whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act has made his report to the
Central Government;
And whereas, the Central Government after considering the report aforesaid and after consulting the
Government of Jharkhand is satisfied that the all rights in and over land measuring 03.68 hectares (approximately) or
09.09 acres (approximately), described in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby declares that all rights in and over land 03.68 hectares (approximately) or 09.09 acres
(approximately), described in the Schedule annexed hereto are hereby acquired.
The plan bearing number REV/07/2017, dated the 26th May, 2017 of the area covered by this notification may
be inspected in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, District - Bokaro, Jharkhand or at the Office of Coal Controller,
