And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that coal is obtainable in a part of the said lands described in the Schedules appended to this notification; Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas, ( Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957, the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to acquire the land measuring 64.43 hectares (approximately) or 159.20 acres (approximately) and all rights in the Schedule appended hereto. Explanation.- It shall not be an objection within the meaning of section for any person to say that he himself desires to undertake mining operation in the land for the production of the coal and those operations should not be undertaken by the Central Government or by any other person.
