New Delhi, the 18th July, 2017
S.O. 2252(E).—Whereas in pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Indian
Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) Members for
Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha Systems of medicine from the State in which the State Register of Indian
Medicine is maintained, have been elected from amongst themselves by persons enrolled on that Register as
practitioners of Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act, the
Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of
India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health S.O. Number 3259(E),
dated the 21st August,1971, namely:—
In the Table, under the heading “Elected under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 3, against the
serial number 3 relating to the State of Orissa, for the entries in column 2, 3, 4 and 5 relating thereto, the
following entries shall be substituted, namely:—
