NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th December, 2019
S.O. 4346(E).—Whereas in pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Indian
Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970), hereinafter referred to as the said Act, read with rule 21 of
the Indian Medicine Central Council (Election) Rules, 1975, the members for Ayurveda and Unani systems of
medicine from the State of National Capital Territory of Delhi, in which the State Register of Indian Medicine
is maintained, have been elected from amongst themselves by persons enrolled on that Register as
practitioners of Ayurveda and Unani.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act, the
Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of
India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health, number S.O. 3259,
dated the 21st August, 1971, namely:-
In the said notification, in the TABLE, under the heading “Elected under clause(a) of sub- section (1)
of section 3”, against the State of National Capital Territory of Delhi, for entries in column 2, 3 and 4, the
following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

“1. Dr. Dinesh Chandra Sharma, Ayurveda With effect from the 23rd September, 2019, for a
period of five years, or till he ceases to be enrolled

2. Dr. Rahat Ali Khan, Unani With effect from the 23rd September, 2019, for a
