NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th June, 2017
S.O. 1908 (E).—Whereas in pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 3 of
the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act)
member for Ayurveda System of medicine from the State of Goa in which the State Register of
Indian Medicine is maintained, has been elected from amongst themselves by persons enrolled on
that Register as practitioner of Ayurveda;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the
said Act, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification
of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of
Health number S.O. 3259, dated the 21st August, 1971, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) , namely: —
In the Table to the said notification, under the heading “Elected under clause (a) of sub-
section (1) of section 3”, against the State of Goa, for the entries in columns 2, 3, and 4, the
following entries shall be substituted, namely: —
