New Delhi, the 16th October, 2017
S.O. 3369 (E).— Whereas in pursuance of clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Indian Medicine Central
Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) read with rule 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council(Election) Rules,1975, one
member each from the Ayurveda and Unani systems of medicine for the West Bengal University of Health Sciences,
Kolkata, West Bengal has been elected from amongst themselves by the members of the Ayurveda Faculty and Unani
Faculty of the said University and their membership shall be valid till they cease to be member of the said Faculties as
per the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 7 of the said Act.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the said Act, the Central
Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare number S.O. 3259, dated the 21st August, 1971, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section(ii) , namely: —
In the said notification, in the Table, under the heading “Elected under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of
