NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th April, 2017
S.O. 1442(E).—Whereas in pursuance of clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Indian Medicine
Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) read with rule 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council (Election)
Rules,1975, one member from the Siddha System of medicine for the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University,
Chennai has been elected amongst themselves by the members of Siddha faculty of the said University;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act, the
Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in
the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare vide number S.O. 3259, dated the 21st August, 1971 published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) , namely: -
In the said notification, under the heading “Elected under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 3”, in the
Table, for the entries relating to “The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, in column 2, 3 and 4”,
the following entries shall be substituted, namely: -
