And whereas, the plan bearing number SECL/ BSP/ GM(PLG)/ Land/ 493, dated the 23rd May, 2016 containing details of the area covered by this notification may be inspected at the office of the Collector, District Raigarh (Chhattisgarh) or at the office of the Coal Controller, 1, Council House Street, Kolkata-700001 or at the office of the South Eastern Coalfields Limited (Revenue Section), Seepat Road, Bilaspur -495006 (Chhattisgarh); Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal in the land described in the said Schedule; Any person interested in the land described in the said Schedule may,- (i) claim compensation under sub-section (1) of section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by any action taken under sub- section (3) of section 4 thereof;
