S.O. 2900(E).ÑÑÑÑWhereas it appears to the Central Government that Coal is likely to be obtained from the lands
in the locality mentioned in the Schedule annexed hereto;
And whereas, the plan bearing number SECL/J&K/CM/BAR/ 2016/ 04, dated the 10th April, 2016 containing
details of the area of land described in the said Schedule may be inspected at the office of the Collector, District
Anuppur (Madhya Pradesh) or at the office of the Coal Controller, 1, Council House Street, Kolkata-700001 or at the
office of the South Eastern Coalfields Limited (Revenue Section), Seepat Road, Bilaspur -495006 (Chhattisgarh);
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central
Government hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal in the land described in the aforesaid Schedule;
Any person interested in the land described in the above mentioned Schedule may-
(i) object to the acquisition of the whole or any part of the land or of any rights in or over such land; or
(ii) claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused
by any action taken under sub -section (3) of section 4 of the said Act ; or
(iii) claim compensation under sub-section (1) of section 13 of the said Act in respect of prospecting
license ceasing to have effect or under sub-section (4) of section 13 of the said Act for mining lease¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3
ceasing to have effect and deliver all maps, charts and other documents relating to the aforesaid land

Bilaspur-495006 (Chhattishgarh) within a period of ninety days from the date of publication of this notification.
