NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th September, 2020
S.O. 3105(E).—Whereas, M/s. Dahej SEZ Limited, a joint venture of Gujarat Industrial Development
Corporation (GIDC) and Oil and Natural Gas Commission Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special
Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a multi-product Special
Economic Zone at Villages Dahej, Ambheta, Luvara, Suva, Lakhigam and Jageshwar in Taluk Vagra, District
Bharuch in the State of Gujarat;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified/partially de-notified the
areas at the above Special Economic Zone as per details given below in the table: -

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Dahej SEZ Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 0.2509 hectare from the

AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Gujarat has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No.
IC/INFRA/NoC/1590591 dated 22nd November, 2019;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Dahej, SEZ has recommended the proposal for de-
notification of an area of 0.2509 hectare of the Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section
3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4
of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the
Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 0.2509 hectare, thereby making the resultant area as
1682.4031 hectare, comprising the Survey numbers and the areas given below in the table, namely:-
