NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 30th November, 2018
F. No. 20/4/2003/HP-II-1449.— Whereas, plying of slow moving vehicles i.e. cycle rickshaws, thelas/hand
carts and animal driven vehicles, etc. on Barapulla Road creating traffic congestion and obstruction in smooth flow of
traffic;
And whereas, it is necessary to ensure smooth flow of traffic, prevent congestion and inconvenience to
motorists, other road users and for the safety of other road users;
Now, therefore, I, A.K. Singh, Addl. Commissioner of Police/Traffic (HQ), Delhi in exercise of the powers
conferred upon me under Regulation 20 of “The Delhi Control of Vehicular and other traffic on Roads and Streets
Regulations, 1980” do hereby prohibit the plying of slow moving vehicles i.e. cycle rickshaw, thela/hand carts, animal
driven vehicles, etc. on Barapulla Road from Ring Road – INA to Sarai Kale Khan for 24 hours of the day, till further
orders.
This order shall be published for the information of the general public in the official gazette and by affixing a
copy on the notice boards of the office of all District Deputy Commissioner of Police and all Police Stations in
Delhi/New Delhi.
The concerned civic road agencies maintaining the roads/areas shall erect the corresponding signboards
indicating the restriction on slow moving in the area for information and convenience of all concerned.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
