F. No. DHE. 18(9)/SFRC/2017-18/5427-36.—Whereas the Fee Regulatory Committee was constituted by the
Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi vide notification number F.DHE 18(6)/SFRC/2016-17/206-217
dated the 17th January, 2017 for the purpose of determining fee for pursuing courses in privately managed institutions
offering different courses in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and to perform the smooth functioning assigned to
it under the Delhi Professional Colleges or Institutions (Prohibition of Capitation Fee, Regulation of Admission,
Fixation of Non-Exploitative Fee and Other Measures to Ensure Equity and Excellence) Act, 2007 (Delhi Act 8 of
2007).
Whereas the said committee felt in their meeting held on 17th March, 2017 that the fee fixation for Ten
Institutions (Three newly opened Institutions and Seven existing Institutions which have started new courses from the
academic year 2016-17 for which adhoc Fee was fixed by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) needs to be
taken on priority as retrospective/delayed decision in respect of their fee may pose implementation problems and
submitted its interim report recommending the fee to be charged by these Ten Institutions for the Academic Year 2016-
17 as specified in the Table annexed herewith.
The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has decided to accept the fee now recommended
by the said committee for the courses in Ten Institutions (Three newly opened Institutions and Seven existing
Institutions started new courses from academic year 2016-17) for the academic year 2016-17.
Now, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub sections (3) and (13) of section 6 of the said Act, the
Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby notify that the proposed fees for the courses in Ten
Institutions (Three newly opened Institutions and Seven existing Institutions started new courses from academic year
2016-17) by the said Committee, be implemented for the academic year of 2016-17 as specified in the Table annexed
herewith.
