No. 20/4/2003/HP-II/5192.—Whereas, the movement of HGVs, MGVs and LGVs on Agra Canal Road from Kalindi Kunj to Faridabad Border is causing obstruction in smooth flow of traffic and inconvenience to other road users. And whereas, it is necessary to regulate the movement of traffic on the above mentioned road to ensure smooth flow of traffic and for convenience and safety of motorists and other road users. Now, therefore, I, Aslam Khan, Deputy Commissioner of Police/Traffic (HQ), Delhi in exercise of the powers, conferred upon me under Regulation 30(1) of “The Delhi Control of Vehicular and Other Traffic on Roads and Streets Regulations, 1980” as amendment vide notification No. 03/Spl. Cell/PHQ, dated 03.01.1997, do hereby prohibit the entry, plying and idle parking of HGVs, MGVs and LGVs (excluding 3-wheeled light goods vehicles) on Agra Canal Road from Kalindi Kunj to Faridabad Border from 07.00 AM to 11.00 AM and 05.00 PM to 11.00 PM, till further orders. This order shall be published for the information of the general public in the official gazette and by affixing a copy on the notice boards of the office of all District Deputy Commissioner of Police and all Police Stations in Delhi/New Delhi. The concerned civic road agencies maintaining the roads/areas shall erect the corresponding informatory signboards indicating the restrictions in the area for the guidance and convenience of all concerned. No. 20/4/2003/HP-II/5193.—Whereas, improper and unauthorized parking of vehicles is causing obstruction in smooth & safe flow of traffic and inconvenience to motorists and other road users in the areas of Sarojini Nagar and adjoining areas of Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Shivaji Stadium etc.; And whereas in view of the above mentioned problems, it is necessary to control the unauthorized parking of motor vehicles in the above cited areas with an objective to ensure uninterrupted, safe and free management of traffic and safety of motorists and other road users; Now, therefore, I, Aslam Khan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Headquarters, Delhi in exercise of the powers, conferred upon me under Regulation 3 (3) of Delhi Control of Vehicular and Other Traffic on Roads and Street Regulations, 1980 do hereby restrict the parking of all type of vehicles on the following roads/road stretches in Delhi/New Delhi by declaring the roads as “No Parking Zone” (except authorized parking lots) till further orders:— Sl. (b) Hanuman Mandir Road & Road behind Emporium Buildings 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM The earlier Notification issued vide this office No. 6146-6295/TE(D-II)/Traffic dated 16.09.2014 regarding declaration of ‘No Parking Zone’ on Baba Kharak Singh Marg near Hanuman Mandir, between Outer Circus Connaught Place and Metro Station Shivaji Stadium, New Delhi for 24 hours of the day shall be treated as null & void. This order shall be published for information of the general public in the official gazette and by affixing a copy on the notice boards of the office of all District Deputy Commissioner of Police and all Police Stations in Delhi/New Delhi.
