NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 19th September, 2017
F. No. 20/4/2003/HP-II-7668.—Whereas, the movement of HGVs, MGVs and LGVs on Pataudi House
Road, Daryaganj from T-Point Kasturba Hospital Marg to T-Point Dakhni Rai Street is causing obstruction in
smooth flow of traffic and inconvenience to the school children and vehicles belonging to the school children as
well as to motorists and other road users.
And whereas, it is necessary to regulate the movement of HGVs, MGVs and LGVs on the above
mentioned road to ensure smooth flow of traffic and for convenience and safety of school children, motorists and
other road users.
Now, therefore, I, Aslam Khan, Deputy Commissioner of Police/Traffic (HQ), Delhi in exercise of the
powers, conferred upon me under regulation 30(1) of “The Delhi Control of Vehicular and Other Traffic on Roads
and Streets Regulations, 1980” as amendment vide notification No. 03/Spl. Cell/PHQ dated 03.01.1997, do hereby
prohibit the entry, plying and idle parking of HGVs, MGVs and LGVs (excluding 3-wheeled light goods vehicles)
on Pataudi House Road, Daryaganj from T-Point Kasturba Hospital Marg to T-Point Dakhni Rai Street from 12.00
Noon to 3.00 PM, till further orders.
This order shall be published for the information of the general public in the official gazette and by
affixing a copy on the notice boards of the office of all District Deputy Commissioner of Police and all Police
Stations in Delhi/New Delhi.
The concerned civic road agencies maintaining the roads/areas shall erect the corresponding informatory
signboards indicating the restrictions in the area for the guidance and convenience of all concerned.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
