और पररषद ् के ऄजधक्ांत होने पर और िब तक नइ पररषद ् पुनगषरठत नहीं हो िाती तब तक, केंद्रीय सरकार द्वारा
ईक्त ऄजधजनयम के ऄधीन पररषद ् की िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करने और ईसके कायों का पालन करने के जलए िासी बोडष के गठन

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th April, 2020
S.O. 1367(E).—Whereas the President has promulgated the Indian Medicine Central Council (Amendment)
Ordinance, 2020 (Ord. 7 of 2020), on 24th April, 2020;
And whereas, on and from the date of commencement of the Indian Medicine Central Council (Amendment)
Ordinance, 2020 (Ord. 7 of 2020), (hereafter referred to as the said Ordinance), the Central Council of Indian Medicine
shall stand superseded and the President, Vice-Presidents and other Members of the Council shall vacate their offices;
And whereas the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 3A (as inserted by the said Ordinance) requires the
Central Council to be reconstituted in accordance with the provisions of section 3 of the Indian Medicine Central
Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) within a period of one year from the date of supersession of the Council;
And whereas upon the supersession of the Council and until a new Council is reconstituted, a Board of
Governors is required to be constituted by the Central Government to exercise the powers and perform the functions of
the Council under the said Act;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 3A of the Indian Medicine
Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970), the Central Government hereby constitutes the Board of Governors consisting
of a Chairperson and Members as under:—
