S.O. 1120(E).—Whereas the President, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (a)
of clause (1) of article 80 of the Constitution of India, read with clause (3) of that article, has
nominated one member to the Council of States to fill the seat of one nominated member in that
House who has retired on the expiration of his term of office;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of
1951), the name of the following member nominated by the President is hereby notified for general
information:-
