S.O. 2427(E).—Whereas, the United Nations Security Council Sanctions Committee concerning ISIL
(Da’esh) and Al-Qaida vide notification SC/13798, dated the 1st May, 2019 has added an entry to its Sanctions
List;
And whereas, the Central Government considers it necessary and expedient to issue an Order under the
United Nations (Security Council) Act, 1947 (43 of 1947) to implement the said notification of the United
Nations Security Council Sanctions Committee concerning ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the said Act, the Central Goverment
hereby makes the following Order to amend the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism (Implementation of
Security Council Resolutions) Order, 2016, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.-. (1) This Order may be called the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism
(Implementation of Security Council Resolutions) (Amendment) Order, 2019.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism (Implementation of Security Council Resolutions)
(Amendment) Order, 2016, in the Schedule, in Annexure 1, under the heading “A. Individual”, the following
entry shall be inserted at the end, namely:-
