Delhi, the 22nd May, 2018
F. No. 20/4/2003/HP-II – 3788.—Whereas, the unregulated halting and parking of TSRs on New Patparganj
Road near Shakarpur School Block Bus Stand is causing obstruction in the smooth flow of traffic and inconvenience to
the motorists and other road users.
And whereas, it is necessary to regulate the halting & parking of TSR on New Patparganj Road near Shakarpur
School Block Bus Stand to ensure safe & smooth flow of traffic and for convenience of motorists and other road users.
Now, therefore, I, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (Hdqrs.) Delhi in exercise of the
powers conferred upon me under Section 3 of the “Delhi Control of Vehicular and other traffic on Roads and Streets
Regulation, 1980” do hereby order that the place near Shakarpur School Block Bus Stand A S/3 on New Patparganj Road
on the carriageway going towards Laxmi Nagar, Delhi shall be used as a TSR ‘Halt & Go’ Stand for halting and parking
of maximum 5 TSRs at a time with the condition that the notifying authority reserves the right to cancel the notification
subsequently in the public interest. No Pucca/Semi Pucca structure, water, electricity and telephone connection shall be
allowed at the site.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect.
This order will be published for the information of the general public through press, affixing a copy on the
notice boards of the office of all District Deputy Commissioner of Police and all Police Stations in Delhi/New Delhi.
The concerned civic road agencies maintaining the roads/areas shall erect the corresponding signboards
indicating the “Halt and Go Place for 5 TSR” in the area for the information and convenience of all concerned.
