No. 20/4/2003/HP-II-1410.—Whereas, unauthorized/improper parking of motor vehicles is causing obstruction in safe and smooth flow of traffic and inconvenience to the motorists and other road users on Road No. 56, Delhi. And whereas, it is necessary to control the unauthorized/improper parking of motor vehicles on Road No. 56, Delhi to prevent traffic congestion and ensure safe and smooth flow of traffic. Now, therefore, I, A.K. Singh, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Traffic (Headquarters), Delhi in exercise of the powers, conferred upon me under Regulation 3 (3) of Delhi Control of Vehicular and Other Traffic on Roads and Street Regulations, 1980 do hereby prohibit the parking and waiting of all type of vehicles on Road No. 56, Delhi till further orders (except authorized parking lots). This order shall be published for the information of the general public in the official gazette and by affixing a copy on the notice boards of the office of all District Deputy Commissioner of Police and all Police Stations in Delhi/New Delhi. The concerned civic road agencies maintaining the subject roads shall erect sufficient number of the corresponding informatory and mandatory signboards indicating the restriction on the road for the guidance and convenience of all road users.
