This notification, issued by the Rural Development Department of the Government of Maharashtra on November 4, 2025, announces the constitution of new independent villages within Patan Tahasil of Satara District, under the authority granted by Article 243(g) of the Constitution of India and Section 4 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1959.
Effective November 4, 2025, the following changes are made:
* The local area comprising the revenue villages of Maloshi and Ghatewadi will form the distinct village of Maloshi.
* The local area comprising the revenue village of Padekarwadi will form the distinct village of Padekarwadi.
The notification is issued by order and in the name of the Governor of Maharashtra. K. S. Potdar, Deputy Secretary to Government, is the signatory.

च्या प्रयोजनासाठी अनुसूचीतील स्तंभ (२) मध्ये विनिर्दिष्ट केल्याप्रमाणे मालोशी आणि पाडेकरवाडी या नावाने ओळखले जातील.

NOTIFICATION
CONSTITUTION OF INDIA.
No. VPM-2025/CR-161/PR-4(22) (E-1316258 ).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause
(g) of article 243 of the Constitution of India read with section 4 of the Maharashtra Village
Panchayats Act (III of 1959), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and in supersession
of all the previous notifications or instruments issued in that behalf, and after consultation with the
Administrator, discharging the functions of the Standing Committee of the Zilla Parishad, Satara
and Village Panchayat and Gram Sabha Maloshi in Patan Tahasil of Satara District, the Governor
of Maharashtra hereby specifies the 4th November, 2025, to be the date from which each of the local
area comprising group of revenue villages Maloshi, Ghatewadi and Padekarwadi in Patan Tahasil
in Satara District specified in column (3) of the Schedule appended hereto, shall be the distinct
villages and shall be known by the name of the villages Maloshi, and Padekarwadi respectively, as
specified in column (2) thereof, for the purposes of Part IX of the Constitution.
