STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS 2023 No. 460 (C. 25) TRANSPORT The Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles (Safeguarding and Road Safety) Act 2022 (Commencement) Regulations 2023 Made - - - - 23rd April 2023 The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9(4) of the Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles (Safeguarding and Road Safety) Act 2022(1).
Citation and extent
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles (Safeguarding and Road Safety) Act 2022 (Commencement) Regulations 2023.
(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.
Commencement
2. So far as they are not already in force, the provisions of the Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles (Safeguarding and Road Safety) Act 2022 come into force on 27th April 2023.
