(Emergency) (Revocation) Regulations 2024 Made - - - - at 9.35 a.m. on 18th December 2024 Coming into force with immediate effect The Secretary of State has decided that it is no longer considered necessary in the public interest to restrict the flying of unmanned aircraft in the area specified in the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Gravesend) (Emergency) Regulations 2024.
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016(a).
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Gravesend)
(Emergency) (Revocation) Regulations 2024 and they come into force with immediate effect.
Revocation of Regulations
2. The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Gravesend) (Emergency) Regulations 2024(b) are revoked.
Signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport David J Best Grade 7 At 9.35 a.m. on 18th December 2024 Department for Transport EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Regulations) These Regulations revoke the statutory instrument which imposed emergency restrictions on the flying of unmanned aircraft in the vicinity of Gravesend, Kent (S.I. 2024/1350) as the emergency in question has now passed.
