The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (HM Dockyard,
Portsmouth) (Emergency) (Amendment) Regulations 2025

Coming into force - -at 12.30 p.m. on 30th November 2025
The Secretary of State has decided that it is necessary in the public interest to amend the restricted
area in the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (HM Dockyard, Portsmouth) (Emergency)
Regulations 2025(a).
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by
article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016(b).
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (HM Dockyard,
Portsmouth) (Emergency) (Amendment) Regulations 2025 and they come into force at 12.30 p.m.
on 30th November 2025.
Amendment of the Regulations
2.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2), between 1230 hours on 30th November 2025 and 1700 hours
on 1st December 2025 no unmanned aircraft is to fly below 500 feet above mean sea level within
the area bounded by straight lines joining successively the following points—
(a) 504755N 0010652W,
(b) 504827N 0010652W,
(c) 504836N 0010621W,
(d) 504832N 0010538W,
(e) 504819N 0010529W,
(f) 504802N 0010548W,
(g) 504800N 0010623W, and
(h) 504755N 0010652W.
(2) Paragraph (1) does not apply to any unmanned aircraft flying in accordance with a
permission issued by HM Dockyard, Portsmouth.

These Regulations amend the statutory instrument which imposed emergency restrictions on
flying in the area specified in the Schedule to that instrument.
