EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order revokes the Civil Aviation (Customs and Excise Airports) Order 2021 and replaces it with
a new Order which designates certain aerodromes to be places for the landing or departure of aircraft
for the purposes of the enactments for the time being in force relating to customs and excise. The
effect of this Order is that it removes the designation of five aerodromes for these purposes. These
aerodromes are Coventry Airport, Doncaster (Sheffield) Airport, Filton Airport, Manston Airport
and Plymouth Airport. A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument, as no,
or no significant impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
