**Summary:**
EEA Joint Committee Decision No. 109/2019, adopted on May 8, 2019, amends Annex I (Veterinary and phytosanitary matters) to the EEA Agreement. The decision incorporates Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/49 of January 4, 2019, which concerns the authorization of sodium selenite, coated granulated sodium selenite, and zinc-L-selenomethionine as feed additives for all animal species, into the EEA Agreement. This regulation is published in the Official Journal of the European Union, OJ L 10, 14.1.2019, p. 2. The Decision does not apply to Liechtenstein due to the extension of the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on trade in agricultural products to Liechtenstein. The authentic Icelandic and Norwegian language texts of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/49 will be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union. The Decision entered into force on June 1, 2019, following the completion of notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement. The Decision was published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
