DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 126/2019
of 8 May 2019
amending Annex XI (Electronic communication, audiovisual services and information society) to the
EEA Agreement [2022/2023]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98
thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/235 of 24 January 2019 on amending Decision 2008/411/EC as
regards an update of relevant technical conditions applicable to the 3 400-3 800 MHz frequency band(1), as
corrected by OJ L 92, 1.4.2019, p. 11, is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Annex XI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following indent is added in point 5czd (Commission Decision 2008/411/EC) of Annex XI to the EEA Agreement:
‘— 32019 D 0235: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/235 of 24 January 2019 (OJ L 37, 8.2.2019,
p. 135), as corrected by OJ L 92, 1.4.2019, p. 11.’
Article 2
The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/235, as corrected by OJ L 92, 1.4.2019, p. 11, in the Icelandic and
Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 1 June 2019, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA
Agreement have been made*.
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European
Union.
