22.9.2022 EN Official Journal of the European Union L 246/71 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 126/2022 of 29 April 2022 amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2022/1570] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/428 of 10 March 2021 adopting standard data formats for the submission of applications for the approval or the amendment to the conditions of approval of active substances, as provided for in Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1448 of 3 September 2021renewing the approval of the low-risk active substance calcium carbonate in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011(2)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (3) Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows: 1. The following indent is added in point 13a (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011): ‘— 32021 R 1448: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/1448 of 3 September 2021 (OJ L 313, 6.9.2021, p. 15).’ 2.
