22.9.2022 EN Official Journal of the European Union L 246/109 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 148/2022 of 29 April 2022 amending Annex IX (Financial services) to the EEA Agreement [2022/1592] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2268 of 6 September 2021 amending the regulatory technical standards laid down in Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/653 as regards the underpinning methodology and presentation of performance scenarios, the presentation of costs and the methodology for the calculation of summary cost indicators, the presentation and content of information on past performance and the presentation of costs by packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs) offering a range of options for investment and alignment of the transitional arrangement for PRIIP manufacturers offering units of funds referred to in Article 32 of Regulation (EU) No 1286/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council as underlying investment options with the prolonged transitional arrangement laid down in that Article(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) Annex IX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following indent is added in point 31bgb (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/653) of Annex IX to the EEA Agreement: ‘— 32021 R 2268: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2268 of 6 September 2021(OJ L 455 I, 20.12.2021, p. 1).’. Article 2 The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2268 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 30 April 2022, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made*, or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 67/2020 of 30 April 2020(2), whichever is the later.
