L 246/128 EN Official Journal of the European Union 22.9.2022 DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 160/2022 of 29 April 2022 amending Annex XX (Environment) to the EEA Agreement [2022/1604] THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE, Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof, Whereas: (1) Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/781 of 10 May 2021on the publication of a list indicating certain CO emissions values per manufacturer as well as average specific CO emissions of all new heavy-duty vehicles 2 2 registered in the Union and reference CO emissions pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/1242 of the European 2 Parliament and of the Council for the reporting period of the year 2019(1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. (2) By virtue of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 398/2021 of 10 December 2021, Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/781 does not apply to Liechtenstein. (3) Annex XX to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following point is inserted after point 21azka (Regulation (EU) 2019/1242 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of Annex XX to the EEA Agreement: ‘21azkaa. 32021 D 0781: Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/781 of 10 May 2021on the publication of a list indicating certain CO emissions values per manufacturer as well as average specific CO emissions of all 2 2 new heavy-duty vehicles registered in the Union and reference CO emissions pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2 2019/1242 of the European Parliament and of the Council for the reporting period of the year 2019 (OJ L 167, 12.5.2021, p. 47).’ Article 2 The text of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/781 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic. Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on 30 April 2022, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made*, or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 398/2021 of 10 December 2021(2), whichever is the later.
