amending Annex I (Veterinary and phytosanitary matters) to the EEA Agreement [2025/2101]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98
thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/353 of 21 February 2025 concerning the renewal of the
authorisation of a preparation of Levilactobacillus brevis DSM 16680 as a feed additive for all animal species and
amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 399/2014(1)is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/359 of 21 February 2025 concerning the authorisation of a
preparation of Lactococcus lactisDSM 34262 as a feed additive for all animal species(2)is to be incorporated into the
EEA Agreement.
(3) This Decision concerns legislation regarding feedingstuffs. Legislation regarding feedingstuffs shall not apply to
Liechtenstein as long as the application of the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss
Confederation on trade in agricultural products is extended to Liechtenstein, as specified in the sectoral adaptations
to Annex I to the EEA Agreement. This Decision is therefore not to apply to Liechtenstein.
(4) Annex I to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Chapter II of Annex I to the EEA Agreement is amended as follows:
1. The following indent is added in point 2zzzc (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 399/2014):
‘— 32025 R 0353: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/353 of 21 February 2025 (OJ L, 2025/353,
24.2.2025).’
2. The following points are inserted after point 648 (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/313):
‘649. 32025 R 0353: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/353 of 21 February 2025 concerning the
renewal of the authorisation of a preparation of Levilactobacillus brevisDSM 16680 as a feed additive for all
animal species and amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 399/2014 (OJ L, 2025/353, 24.2.2025).
650. 32025 R 0359: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/359 of 21 February 2025 concerning the
authorisation of a preparation of Lactococcus lactisDSM 34262 as a feed additive for all animal species (OJ L,
2025/359, 24.2.2025).’
Article 2
The texts of Implementing Regulations (EU) 2025/353 and (EU) 2025/359 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be
published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 12 July 2025, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA
Agreement have been made(*).

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European
